Turn OFF the Faucet!
Don’t run the faucet while brushing your teeth. Turning off the water for just a few minutes can save gallons of water every year. Just imagine saving the environment while saving on your water bill!
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the average person uses 183 gallons of water for drinking, cooking, washing, and flushing. The American Water Works Association estimates that an efficient household could save 31% of that or 57 gallons per person per day.
Wow 57 gallons of water per person per day, just imagine the individuals, families, and countries you could be helping with that amount of water conservation.
